The term "21st century learning" itself feels difficult to define to me personally, but the very first thing i thought when i saw it can be said as "the over-advancement of information seeking." Learning, for formal or informal reasons, is basically everywhere on our lives thanks to the rapid technological advancements. Your teacher used a word that you don't know the meaning of? You saw an instagram comment claiming something that you don't really know about? It's only seconds and a few clicks away to reach into the vast amount of unknown information. For our case, which is English Language Teaching (ELT), it is probably the fastest adaptation that had gone through in learning. Super-quick translations, AI, puzzles, games and many other apps that allow you to practice language anywhere, anytime. These advancements in ELT have managed to integrate itself into learning in such a way, that it is almost obligatory to follow these advancements and have a high level of understanding. I firmly believe that technology can be a great implementation in language learning and that we should support this transformation process.
Hey everyone! For our assignment, i had to prepare an infographic regarding certain topics and i chose to go with cyberbullying (not for a particular reason, i just thought it is an interesting topic to know more of.) This will be my first time ever making one, and it is also my first time to take a deeper look into cyberbullying as well. The whole process of making it was quite fun, interesting, and informational (at least for me.) The program i have used to create the infographic itself is canva. I hope this will help you to get a better grasp of cyberbullying as well.
